Thanks for waiting till 4. Our tents are not like traditional hotel rooms in a lot of great ways but they do take some time to clean between guests so thanks for waiting till 4pm… we want to get them just right for you…and if we can get you in any earlier we will let you know.
If you arrive early, Head into Town
Mendocino Village has beautiful shops, galleries, bookstores, eateries and coffee houses. Explore Mendocino.
Have lunch or a mid-day snack — Good Life Cafe is open till 4pm. Frankies, Trillium, and Patterson’s Pub are also great options for an afternoon meal. Get the lowdown on where to eat.
Shop for provisions — Harvest Market at Mendoza’s has everything you need for your stay. Corners of the Mouth has beautiful organic produce and Friday’s farmers market is the perfect way to unwind and stock up on all things local, Fridays 2-2pm. Shop at Mendocino’s markets.
Take a bluff walk above the Pacific. Mendocino Headlands Trail is gorgeous and accessible from all parts of town. See more hikes.
Head to the Beach — Big River Beach is 2 minutes away and a great place for everyone to stretch their legs and relax. Discover more beaches.
if you Can’t get back in your car…
Grab a map from the office and explore the Loop Trail, relax in a hammock with a good book from our lending library, play a game of bocce ball or hang out in the Meadow Commons where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. We have a bunch of Fun & Games waiting for you.
Arriving Late?
If you are arriving after the office closes ( 9pm daily ) you’ll find registration forms prepared with your name and attached to the bulletin board outside of the office.
