Dogs love it here at the campground and we’ve found the town of Mendocino to be particularly welcoming to our four legged friends.
Eating Out
In general if the establishment’s got patio or deck seating then the whole family’s welcome. In the town of Mendocino, this would include: Trillium, Good Life Cafe, Frankies, Mendocino Hotel and Mendocino Cafe.
Getting out - Beaches & Trails
As a rule, dogs are required to be on leash and prohibited from single track pathways. This means most state parks prohibit dogs from inland trails. Spring Ranch is the exception and a wonderful place to hike with your dog.

Dogs are welcome at the campground for an additional fee of $35/night plus tax. We have a number of amenities to make your dog’s stay more comfortable including a dog park where dogs can enjoy some time off leash to run and play with new friends and our dog wash for cleaning up after a busy day in the wild.
Pets are welcome in designated pet friendly accommodations of all tent classes. Pets must be included in your reservation prior to arrival because we have a limited number of pet friendly tents. If you have any questions, please call the office at 707.880.7710.
